01. History and development The museum began as a tradition house built on 20 July 1984, exactly on the tenth anniversary of the founding of the 4th Army Corps, and was upgraded to a museum on 13 July 1995 under Decision No. 613 of the Ministry of National Defence. 02. The displays have been reorganised into three themes: 60 years of the Central Highlands Front and the 3rd Army Corps, 50 years of the 4th Army Corps, and “The 34th Army Corps inheriting and developing a heroic tradition”. There is also a section on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. 03. Highlights - The earlier display was arranged in 10 sections covering the fighting and the coming of age of the 4th Army Corps — the Cuu Long Corps. The corps took the eastern axis in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, with the battles of Trang Bom on 27-28 April 1975 and Ho Nai - Tam Hiep - Bien Hoa on 29-30 April 1975, before advancing into the Independence Palace on 30 April 1975. - In early April 2026 the two sites welcomed more than 5,000 officers, soldiers and students.
